Beginners' Guide to Cake Pops

For anyone new to the world of cake pops, making cake pops can seem like a tricky process. We've put together a picture guide to show what a simple and fun process cake pop baking is. Hope you enjoy it!

1. Make the cake using the Cake Pop Chocolate Mix.
2. Cook the cake in your Cake Pop Maker.
3. Push a stick into each cake pop.
4. Melt your cake pop melt.
5. Dip each cake pop in the melt
6. Decorate however you want!

Christmas Pudding Cake Pops

The Christmas holidays have arrived! Whether you are looking for something to entertain the kids or just fancy doing some creative baking, these Christmas pudding cake pops are perfect to make in the run up to Christmas. They make fun gifts too!

Ingredients for the Decoration
In addition to your basic cake pop ingredients you will need:

  1. Make your basic cake pops and leave to cool.
  2. Push the sticks into the cake pops.
  3. Melt the Brown Wonder Melt. For best results use a Cake Pop Heaven Melting Pot.
  4. Dip each cake pop into the Melt, ensuring that it is completely covered.
  5. Leave to set.
  6. Melt the White Wonder Melt.
  7. Dip the top half of the cake pops into the White Melt.
  8. Place two pieces of Tutti Frutti fudge on top of each cake pop as the holly berries.
  9. Leave to set.
  10. Draw holly leaves on the top of each cake pop using the food pen.

Reindeer Cake Pops

     Less than two weeks to go – suddenly it seems like you have no way near enough time to do all the shopping you were planning, and so many presents still getting! Here is a quick and easy gift idea – Reindeer cake pops.

1)      Make your basic cake pop.
2)      Put sticks into the cake pops.
3)      Melt the Brown Wonder Melt (http://www.cakepopheaven.co.uk/cake-pop-candy-melts-and-chocolate-melts/brown-cake-pop-wonder-melts-200g-dairy-free.html). For best results use the Cake Pop Heaven Melting Pot.
4)      Dip the cake pops into the Wonder Melt, ensuring that the cake pop is covered in Melt.
5)      Stick two pieces of chocolate into each cake pop as the reindeer’s ears.

7)      Stick a piece of chocolate onto the cake pop as the nose.
8)      Leave to set.
9)      When the melt has dried, draw on a smiley mouth using a food pen.
10)   Wrap each cake pop using a wrap and a twist tie or ribbon.
