Cake Pops and Christmas

With less than three weeks to go, everybody is going crazy for Christmas! Now that we’ve reached December, there is no escaping the festivities: Christmas songs playing on the radio, decorations, lights and tinsel appearing everywhere, the rush to buy presents, making arrangements with relatives… and of course the excitement for the big day!

Here at Cake Pop Heaven we can’t wait for Christmas, and a brilliant way to pass the time in a festive way is to bake cake pops with a festive twist. There are countless ways to do this; below are some of the best ways to make Christmassy your cake pops!

Cake pop sticks: there is a huge variety of festive sticks on the website. They make your cake pops eye-catching and colourful. http://www.cakepopheaven.co.uk/cake-pop-sticks.html

Melts: With the wide range of colours available, you can choose festive colours of red and green, or go for a less traditional option with a yellow, orange or pink! http://www.cakepopheaven.co.uk/cake-pop-candy-melts-and-chocolate-melts.html

Chocolate colouring: If you fancy some white chocolate on your cake pops, why not colour it with a green or red chocolate colouring? http://www.cakepopheaven.co.uk/cake-pop-decorations/colourings.html

Food Pen: Write a festive message on your cake pops with a food pen, available in a variety of colours. http://www.cakepopheaven.co.uk/cake-pop-decorations/food-pens.html

Twist ties: Add some more colour to your finished cake pops by adding a pretty twist tie. http://www.cakepopheaven.co.uk/cake-pop-twist-ties-display-wraps/twist-ties.html

Post your pictures of your creations on our Facebook page.

Hope you enjoy making festive cake pops as much as we do!
